  1. Union environment minister Anil Madhav Dave passed away on 18th May 2017 he was 60 Anil Madhav Dave was on July 6, 1956 in Badnagar of Madhya Pradesh.
     
  2. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the Narmada Seva Mission for the conservation of river Narmada. The river serves as a lifeline of Madhya Pradesh.
     
  3. The Union Cabinet has approved a proposal allowing for the construction of 10 indigenous Pressurized Heavy Water Reactors. The reactors will have a capacity of 700 MW. These reactors will add 7000 MW capacity and will ramp up nuclear power generation in the country.
     
  4. The 24th bilateral exercise involving Indian Navy and Republic of Singapore Navy has commenced in South China Sea SIMBEX stands for ‘’Singapore –India Maritime Bilateral Exercises’’.

Nadal will also move into the world’s top four replacing 18-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer in the new rankings.
